I am a psychotherapist. I qualified with a Masters Degree in
Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from Goldsmiths University. I specialised in Attachment Theory.
I have pursued specialist training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Trauma Therapy, Equine Facility Therapy and I have a keen interest in Nutrition.
I am familiar with the current advances in neuroscience which have helped in understanding why we do what we do from the emotional and psychological perspective. This combination of knowledge has opened up the connections between Mind
and Body. Elements of human relationship and their mystery can be explored and hidden dynamics uncovered.
I am also a Director of Tassomai.
Tassomai is an intelligent learning program that helps students achieve results they are proud of. Through multiple choice style micro-quizzes, Tassomai builds knowledge, boosts confidence and therefore reduces exam stress. www.tassomai.com
I do not have an assistant as I prefer to have direct contact with you.
I am busy and to set up an initial appointment it is best you email me directly at email@example.com.
The first thing I need is to talk with you which we can arrange on email.
If you have private health insurance you will need to contact them for authorisation before your appointment. You will need a referral letter from your GP or Psychiatrist.
Once we have met and you feel I am the right person to work with you we can fix suitable appointment dates and times. I find that life can be complicated and that sticking to the same weekly time is sometimes problematic. Therefore we can work weekly choosing an appointment that is convenient for you.
After 6 weeks we can talk briefly about how the work is going and either continue or work towards an ending. I am not comfortable with open ended contracts.
I may recommend that you work with other professionals. I have a network of doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, nutritionists, homeopaths, hypnotherapists, acupuncturists, yoga therapists whom I trust and admire. These are just my recommendations and if you feel that this is not for you do not hesitate to say so.
I see patients by appointment at 127 Harley Street and in SW6. I do not ordinarily take phone calls out of office hours or do home visits.
My first aim and main responsibility is to offer a supportive framework for
you to work with.
I am an Accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and
I have personal insurance with The Professional Psychologists Society (PPS).
